Senior Vanessa Cruz took on the challenge to not only learn about the NROTC (Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps) Scholarship but apply and get accepted out of a competitive line of applicants from Montebello, Whittier, and El Monte school districts. Vanessa earned a $180,000 scholarship and we can't be more proud of her and the hard work she put in.
